hello & welcome to my sims 3 legacy! we will be following the wallace family through ten generations of sims 3 gaming. starting with the founder, zoey wallace, we will go from generation to generation, and this is the place to find out what will happen next.
- if you’re new to the sims 3, then head on over to the official website to find out about the game.
- don’t know what a legacy is? take a look at the rules created by pinstar.
- don’t know where to start or lost your place from last time? the table of contents has a list of all the chapters for each generation, including generation profiles.
- if you have a question, be sure to check out the faq page. if your question isn’t there, please leave a comment with what you want to know and i’ll get back to you.
- ready to read and want me to shut up? start from the beginning HERE or start with the first chapter of the latest generation HERE.

I really like Zoey’s hair, do you remember where it’s from? =]
- Jen
Yup! Her hair is from XM Sims. There’s a hair similar to it (well.. identical) except for a headband/bow you might like, too.
Here’s the link:

Hey, I got it, thanks! I was also wondering, could you upload Zoey to the exchange? I gotta have her!
- Jen
I can try. I think she might be saved somewhere in my game, still. I’ll take a look. =]
Sorry to bother you again, I must seem like a real stalker, lol. It’s just that I’m having problems with installing households to my game and from what I’ve researched, a number of others have too. So, here’s the catch: could you upload her as a single sim to the exchange or as a .sim to mediafire etc? Oh, please and thank you. ♥
I can! It just might take some time. I’m not sure when I’ll have time to go into my game and do that. =]
edit! here she is!

Zoey is gorgeous, definitely going to start reading!
Thank you! =]
Loving what I’ve read so far! (new account btw)
Wow! Thank you so much. =] Soon enough my semester will be over and I’ll be able to post more.
Added you to my links x
Wow, thanks! Added you, as well.
Hey there – enjoying your legacy AND your legacy site. So much so that I linked to it over on my new WordPress site (awondrouslegacy.wordpress.com). It doesn’t have much traffic yet! haha. Not sure it’s blogroll worthy, but time-permitting I’m hoping you can check it out. My second gen is about to graduate from high school, so I’m early in. This is the first time I’ve launched a legacy challenge. Curious to see if the writing style changes over the generations. And curious about how other writers approach their albatross. I mean, game stories.
Thanks for the link! I really like your site, as well. It’s got a great set up and writing style. I’d love to link you back! Keep up the great work, and I look forward to seeing how your legacy progresses.
your sims look, er…. unique?
Um.. Thank you? Genetics come out the way they come out. I love my sims!
Loving your legacy! I have added you to my links page x
Wow! Thanks =] It’s such an honor.
Hey

I absolutely adore you legacy
I check for updates evryday, like seriously. Im thinking of counselling for my addition
I was wondering though, do you know of any other, non download, free sites like WordPress?
My computer is a real pain with download sites, and id like to try my hand at a legacy, y’know?
So, any help with that will be GREATLY appreciated <3
-Zoe
Thank you so much! I appreciate your kind words. =]
My suggestion for starting a legacy website would be either on WordPress.com or Blogger.com. I have used both, and much prefer WordPress. It’s easy to use and design! Let me know if you have any questions or need help with either website. =]
Thank you
Ill Look into Blogger, but is WordPress a download?
I alwasy thought it was, but i may be mistaken?
Nope! I don’t download anything with WordPress.
Hope you both don’t mind if I jump in here… I’ve also built a legacy site in WordPress, (and because I’m silly have 3 other WordPress blogs – see my link above for the legacy). There are two WordPress sites – .com and .org. The org site is for the WordPress CMS builders who download the framework and build their own site with their own host. The .com site, however, is hosted by WordPress and is absolutely FREE. (you’ll note above that the address includes “wordpress.com” at the end, because it is hosted on the wordpress.com site.)
I built my site about a month ago – it took a week to iron everything out but that was also because I was already well into the life of the second generation and had some catching up to do with pictures and so on. But overall pretty easy – I happen to be a bit particular about some things.
Anyhow, I do have some advice given my recent experience: before I built anything, I spent a day or two looking at a whole lot of other sims wordpress sites to see a) what was possible and b) help me decide what I wanted to include in my site and how I wanted to lay it out. I’d highly recommend looking around at wordpress to see what others have done – they are easy to find because most of the legacies have been kind enough to link to other legacies. Not mine yet (*hint hint lol!*), but it’s pretty new. I have linked to a few (including this one) that I thought were worth looking at, mostly by other writers or designers. There are a ton out there – enjoy being inspired!
This is all some really great advice! I also tried to emulate some of my favorite wordpress legacy blogs when building my site. You need to find a format you like and are comfortable with! I highly recommend The Starr Legacy (link to the right) and the other legacies that Sarah has done for inspiration.
Oh! It IS there! Sorry! (and thank you! I guess wordpress can’t see the link from my dashboard!)
I was going to add, though, to ZoZo, that when you go to WordPress.com, they are good enough to walk you through EVERYTHING to help you start your first blog. If you can kind of follow directions, and are willing to experiment a little and make a few mistakes, you will be fine. Good luck with your first legacy and your first blog. Be warned – both are highly addictive!
No worries! I was impressed by your first attempt at a legacy blog! I certainly didn’t pick up on it that fast!
Hey! I’m going to begin reading your legacy right now.
It looks good and Zoey is really pretty!
I also have a legacy myself,
